MY AUS VISA — PRIVATE TWO-PASSPORT TRAVEL CHECKLIST
Reviewed: 27 September 2026

Keep passport numbers and visa references in your own private records. This is not an official visa form.

[ ] List every current citizenship, passport type and other travel document you hold. Decide which passport you will actually use for Australia.
[ ] If you are an Australian citizen, follow Australian-citizen passport guidance. Do not apply for an ETA or eVisitor as a foreign visitor.
[ ] If you are an Australian permanent resident, check the travel facility on your permanent visa in your grant notice or VEVO before leaving or returning.
[ ] If you hold two non-Australian citizenships, check the visa rules for the passport used in the application. Declare other passports where the application asks.
[ ] For ETA 601 or eVisitor 651, check the exact passport type. A non-citizen passport, Certificate of Identity or Titre de Voyage is not eligible for these routes.
[ ] Use the passport linked to your granted visa when entering and leaving Australia. If it changes, use the official passport-update instructions; a new passport requires a new ETA.
[ ] Check the full grant notice and current VEVO conditions before booking or boarding. Repeat the check for each accompanying traveller.
