MY AUS VISA — PRIVATE HEALTH EXAMINATION PREPARATION LIST
Reviewed: 26 September 2026
Appointment and submission-record fields added: 8 October 2026

This is an organisational aid, not a medical form or medical advice. Do not send your HAP ID, passport, test results or medical history to MyAusVisa.

[ ] Follow my own health request. For an application managed in ImmiAccount, check View health assessment and the exact examinations Home Affairs requests.
[ ] Save the Department referral letter with my HAP ID and follow its stated timeframe.
[ ] If examined in the last 12 months, check the current referral for which examinations are still required; do not assume all must be repeated or that the new request is waived.
[ ] If outside Australia, choose a Department-approved panel physician or clinic; if inside Australia, use the named migration medical services provider.
[ ] Confirm the clinic accepts the HAP ID and ask what the appointment will cost.
[ ] Bring the original valid passport and HAP ID referral or Health Examination List.
[ ] Bring prescription glasses or contact lenses, existing specialist reports and prior chest x-rays if relevant.
[ ] Ask the clinic how it will submit results through eMedical and check submission status through the official eMedical Client service.
[ ] If I cannot meet the requested timeframe, attach an explanation in ImmiAccount as Home Affairs directs.
[ ] Monitor the application for later requests; the clinic appointment itself is not a visa decision.

Do not record diagnoses, test results or passport details here. A changed booking does not itself extend a Home Affairs deadline. Before asking about results, check with the panel clinic whether it submitted them; Home Affairs says it cannot provide result information before submission. For an application managed in ImmiAccount, use View health assessment in View application status. Follow the instructions in your individual request if a different application channel applies. Record an actual request rather than inventing a follow-up date.
