ROUTE TO VERIFY
[ ] Where will the applicant be when they apply? Check 309/100 outside Australia or 820/801 inside Australia.
[ ] Check the sponsor's actual Australian citizenship, permanent residence or eligible New Zealand citizenship.
[ ] Check the selected visa page, current application charge, location rules, existing visa conditions and ImmiAccount document prompts.

RELATIONSHIP HISTORY
[ ] Record a truthful timeline: first meeting, relationship development, living arrangements, time apart and future plans.
[ ] Check the marriage or de facto rules for the chosen route; a marriage certificate alone does not replace other requested evidence.

POSSIBLE EVIDENCE TO ORGANISE WHEN RELEVANT
[ ] Identity, name changes, prior relationships and dependants.
[ ] Financial matters: shared accounts, major commitments or household bills.
[ ] Household arrangements: residence, responsibilities and care of children.
[ ] Social recognition: witness statements and shared activities as directed by the chosen visa page.
[ ] Commitment: contact when apart, knowledge of each other and longer-term plans.
[ ] Sponsor's own online sponsorship form and any character documents the current instructions require.

AFTER LODGEMENT
[ ] Save the application ID or TRN so the sponsor can complete their step.
[ ] Monitor ImmiAccount and report changes in address, passport, family or relationship as Home Affairs directs.
[ ] Check the later permanent-stage instructions for subclass 100 or 801 when eligible.
