MY AUS VISA — VISA REFUSAL NEXT-STEPS WORKSHEET
Reviewed: 26 September 2026

Keep this private. Do not email your refusal notice, passport number or other sensitive records to MyAusVisa. This worksheet does not calculate a review deadline or decide whether a review or new visa application is available.

1. FIND AND READ THE DECISION
[ ] Save the complete Visa Refusal Notification and reasons from ImmiAccount or the nominated email.
Visa subclass and stream:
Decision date and date I received the notice:
Exact reasons listed in the notice (my own short notes):

2. CHECK REVIEW INFORMATION IN THE NOTICE
[ ] Does the notice say this decision can be reviewed? Record its exact wording.
[ ] Who does it say may apply for review?
[ ] What is the exact deadline and application method stated?
[ ] Check the current ART instructions and fee for this decision type.
Do not assume a review right or use a generic deadline from another case. ART says it cannot extend the time limit for a migration review.

3. CHECK CURRENT STATUS AND OTHER OPTIONS
[ ] If I am in Australia, check my current visa and conditions in VEVO and get prompt qualified advice about staying lawful.
[ ] If considering another application, check whether I can make a valid application in my location and what has changed since refusal.
[ ] If advice is needed, verify a registered migration agent or Australian legal practitioner.
