Reviewed: 27 September 2026

Save this on your own device. Do not send passport, assessment, test or employment records to MyAusVisa. This is not an EOI or a visa application.

1. ROUTE AND IDENTITY
[ ] Intended subclass: 189 / 190 / 491. Check its current occupation list and rules.
[ ] Check that passport country, citizenship and current residence are entered separately and accurately.
[ ] Keep my SkillSelect EOI ID and account recovery details privately.

2. CLAIMS TO VERIFY BEFORE SUBMITTING
[ ] Nominated occupation and code: ______________________________
[ ] Assessing authority, assessment date and reference: ______________________________
[ ] English evidence or applicable passport rule; test date and results: ______________________________
[ ] Qualification, institution, campus, country and study dates: ______________________________
[ ] Employment for the past 10 years: employer, role, dates and relation to nominated occupation.
[ ] Other points claims: age, partner, nomination or sponsorship; evidence for each claim.
[ ] Use the official points calculator. 65 is a threshold, not an invitation promise.

3. KEEP THE EOI CURRENT
[ ] Recheck claims after new work, study, English results, skills assessment or family changes.
[ ] Update the EOI before any invitation. An invited EOI cannot be edited.
[ ] Note when the submitted EOI reaches its two-year active period.

4. IF INVITED
[ ] Record the invitation date and 60-day application deadline.
[ ] Compare every EOI claim to the documents for the exact visa subclass and invitation.
[ ] Lodge the separate visa application through ImmiAccount by the deadline.
[ ] An EOI or invitation is not a visa or permission to stay in Australia.
