MY AUS VISA — PRIVATE SPONSORED FAMILY 600 BOND RECORD
Prepared 6 October 2026. Original preparation aid, not Form 1149 or a payment instruction.
Keep the completed record, request letters and receipts on your own device. Do not send them to MyAusVisa.

1. CHOOSE THE ACTUAL VISITOR STREAM
[ ] Check whether this is Visitor 600 Tourist with an invitation, or the separate Sponsored Family stream with formal sponsorship.
[ ] A Tourist-stream host does not become a formal sponsor merely by inviting or funding the visit.
Visitor applicant(s) and selected stream: ____

2. CHECK THE FORMAL SPONSOR AND EACH APPLICANT
[ ] Check the current sponsor status, age, settlement, relationship and any previous-sponsorship limits on Home Affairs.
[ ] If using Sponsored Family, the sponsor completes official Form 1149. Each applicant attaches it to their own online visa application.
[ ] Keep the relationship evidence for each applicant. A bond or Form 1149 does not guarantee a visa.
Relationship evidence to obtain privately: ____

3. RESPOND ONLY TO AN ACTUAL BOND REQUEST
[ ] Has Home Affairs sent a written bond request for this applicant? Date and application reference: ____
[ ] Read the amount, who must lodge it, where to lodge it and the refund arrangements in that request.
[ ] The published usual range is AUD 5,000–15,000 per person, but the Department may request another amount. Do not assume one amount for all applicants.
[ ] Form 1149 says a third party aged at least 18 may provide a bond. Follow the actual Department request for payment instructions.
[ ] Do not pay an agent or another person merely because they claim a bond is due. Verify the request through the official application channel.
Amount requested for this applicant: ____ Due date, if stated: ____ Receipt stored privately: ____
Do not enter bank, card or account numbers in this worksheet.

4. AFTER THE DECISION AND VISIT
[ ] A paid bond is not a visa grant. Read each written decision, permitted stay, entries and conditions.
[ ] The Sponsored Family stream says condition 8503 No Further Stay will apply and condition 8531 must not be breached. Record the last permitted stay date from the grant and VEVO.
[ ] Form 1149 warns that an 8503 waiver does not waive 8531. If the visitor stays beyond the permitted period, sponsor penalties and bond forfeiture may still follow; seek qualified case-specific help promptly.
[ ] Keep the visitor’s compliance and departure records privately. Check the written request for refund steps.
[ ] Home Affairs says refund depends on compliance with visa conditions and leaving before visa expiry.
Actual grant or refusal and follow-up date: ____
