MY AUS VISA — PRIVATE VISA GRANT AND TRAVEL CHECKLIST
Original grant checks: 26 September 2026; arrival and permanent-return additions: 28 September 2026; passport-validity check: 7 October 2026

Use this on your own device. It is a preparation aid, not a visa, border clearance or a substitute for your own grant notice. Do not send your passport, grant number or travel records to MyAusVisa.

1. READ MY ACTUAL GRANT
[ ] Save the complete Visa Grant Notification from my application channel.
[ ] Check the name, passport, visa subclass and stream against my travel document.
[ ] Record the grant date, travel or first-entry dates, entries allowed and permitted stay exactly as shown.
[ ] Read every condition and check whether my planned work, study and travel fit.
[ ] If a date or condition is unclear, check the official visa page or seek qualified help before booking.

2. CHECK A CURRENT VISA IN VEVO
[ ] Use my passport or other accepted travel document and TRN or current visa grant number.
[ ] Compare the visa, expiry, must-not-arrive-after date, stay period and conditions with my plans.
[ ] If VEVO cannot find the visa, remember it shows only a current in-effect visa; follow its error guidance.

3. CHECK MY PASSPORT AND BOARDING DETAILS
[ ] Travel with a current, valid passport or travel document and any old passport linked to my visa.
[ ] Check my passport expiry and any airline or transit-country rule; do not assume a universal Australian six-month passport-validity rule.
[ ] If my passport changed, follow Home Affairs instructions to link it to my visa before travel.
[ ] If I hold ETA 601 and obtained a new passport, apply for a new ETA on that passport; the old ETA cannot be transferred.
[ ] Recheck the visa shortly before departure and keep the grant notification accessible.

PERMANENT VISA — RETURN TRAVEL CHECK
[ ] Compare my travel facility expiry with my actual planned return date, not only departure.
[ ] Check the current visa and travel facility in VEVO and my actual grant.
[ ] If an RRV is needed, read the full 155/157 rules and allow time for a grant before return.
[ ] Check each travelling family member separately and use the passport linked to the visa.
[ ] Do not treat an RRV application as a grant or a Visitor visa/ETA as an RRV replacement.

4. PREPARE FOR ARRIVAL
[ ] Check the Australian Border Force Incoming Passenger Card instructions for my trip.
[ ] Official translated samples are preparation examples; complete the actual English card.
[ ] If invited to the ATD pilot, check the current invitation, app eligibility and declaration pass.
[ ] Recheck instructions after cancellation, rescheduling or a different arrival airport.
[ ] Check official rules for food, plant, animal and other items; declare goods when required.
[ ] Answer border and biosecurity questions truthfully. A visa grant does not guarantee entry.
